William Parr was born William Miller on 10/31/1979 in Miami, Florida. William was born deaf, and wears one hearing aid. William was adopted by the Parr family in April 1985, raised in other states and in Europe (Ukraine for 3 years and 8 months, 1995-1998) while being homeschooled in his homes from grade 3 unto his graduation at Gentry Technical Facility in Talladega, Ala. in March 1999 (where he attended a home ED in cooking classes amongst other classes). He has a great passion full of fire in his heart to serve people with great food, thanks to his late, adoptive mother who raised him with a loving hand in teaching him the ways of the kitchen amongst many other things. There is nothing else in this world that he would love to do more than to serve God, Jesus Christ, and to serve food to people! He currently attends Shiloh Rd. Church of Christ in Tyler, Texas where he has been a member of for the last 2+ years. Some of his inspirations for new recipes comes from some people at church potlucks and restaurants voicing their own opinions of what they'd like to eat instead of same thing repeatedly. William is currently researching the ancient Roman Empire recipes, old times recipes from different time eras in 1800's to early 1900's, and such related subjects to review the ingredients to see about bringing back the old recipes back to the present. In 2007 when William moved to Tyler, Texas he began to search for his biological family, finally finding them through a sister he didn't know he had on 2/5/13. From there William became more aware of vegan options to serve clients who wishes to avoid consuming meat. While William loves to cook, he also loves to research on genealogy and study many versions of history, including the history of chefs, cooks, and people long forgotten in the history books gathering dust, adding to his list of skills to be a successful chef, historian, genealogist, and researcher.  William is currently engaged to Nicole Ashworth, whose family has very strong Texan roots. In his spare time, William loves to hike, ride mountain bike, read books of any types except romantic ones, watch Netflix every night, enjoy sunrises and sunsets, and hanging out with friends by just sitting and chatting.
